>>2053180>>2053183I figured it was mold, yeah. I planted them from a packet and they have casings, though that shouldn't be causing an issue. I bet it's the soil I used, I mixed MG peat moss with some Expert Gardener potting mix from last season as it was all I had on hand at the time and rent was fucking me. Shit had been left out in the patio closet over winter. If not that then the only other guess I have is the dead catnip or maybe shed hairs from when the dog knocked the shit on the floor; I kept the dirt that didn't get scattered. Guess I'll get the q-tips out again and keep the lid off from now on. I transplanted around 20 catnip sprouts and four of the cilantro plants, and nothing else seems to want to grow at this point so all I care about is saving whatever strawberries and lemongrass I can.
I buried the leggy cilantro deep in the soil before I learned that cilantro has a taproot, so I'm not expecting that to go far. The three healthier ones were moved to some MG potting mix in a shelf planter a few days ago but they're still not standing upright despite being in a westward window. I've moved them back under the LED array to see if they'll take to that light better.
Oh, does anyone have tips on propagating philodendrons? Pic related is in a mug of water by the kitchen window but it refuses to grow roots. I'd like to fill my house with green friends and clean air.
