During that time I saw Amish and Hudderite folks regularly, literally hundreds of them. I'd say the average height for their men is like 5'6. In all that time I met only one (a hudderite) who was as tall as I am (6'4), although to be fair he was like 60 so he was probably taller than me in his prime.
I can't find any actual studies talking about the average height of Amish folks, though I did find several other people commenting on the Amish being short, so make of that what you will.
