Some retards will tell you a over powered cartridge like 300 win mag or some dumb shit but you get deminishing returns less meat for the animal to walk 1 or 2 steps less if you hit it right.
Shot placement is more important than caliber.
Middle of the shoulder 6in up from where the leg jots out of the torso
