>>1344088This was the easiest route I could find while limited by my 50' rope. I repelled it with my loaded pack and climbed back up several times with an ascended without issue, however I'm still trying to figure out how to lift out a deer.
My idea right now is to buy some cheap utility rope and when I rappel in, tie off the utility rope as well and toss it down. After field dressing the deer (fingers crossed I get one lol), I will tie it onto the utility rope, and climb out on my line. Once out, I will tie off my ascender with my lanyard to a tree, and use it as a ratchet to help pull up the deer.
Any thoughts?
