Had my first smoke in this beautiful baby today. I went with the black pipe seeing how it looked a little more stylish in my hands than the chestnut coloured one. However seeing how the wood inside changed its colour after just 1 smoke from light to a deep finish made me reconsider if I made the right decision.
Either way, smoking a bowl of peterson nightcap was fantastic from start to finish. I can't wait to see how the pipe will handle the moisture once it gets broken in a little bit more. The thickness of the walls made for a nice warm feeling in the hands at all times without becoming too hot to the touch. I can see myself getting a bulldog from Caminetto some time in the future.
