>>2301764Very nice. Mines a 2008, first year of the 250r. Picked it up from a retired guy in his 50s who thought he could still ride dirt. He put it down once at 5mph and after that day stored it in his garage for 2 years till I bought it.
I think my top speed on it so far has been around 75-80 mph. Personally it doesn't bother me much as I load the bike in my truck and take it to wherever I'm riding, wont stop me from doing 120 miles in a day though.
Sorry about the leg burn though, had something similar happen to me a few years back on my old TTR. Went up a hill climb too fast not knowing what was on the other side. Once I saw it was a cliff leading to a mud hole below I locked up the front brake and folded the bike over. Ended up with my calf right on the header pipe. Thankfully didn't need a skin graft but just had to wrap it up and change bandages daily for about 2 weeks.
