>>1422150That's Whitaker Point! Near Jasper, AR. I went there for vacation in October. There is so much to do. It's by far my favorite place in Arkansas I have visited, essentially a hiker's paradise with tons of sites and the only elk in the state. Not to mention the tallest waterfall in middle America. By the way that's nowhere near Hot Springs, but the Ouachitas have some great sites too, very underrated. Petit Jean Mountain is incredible, Mt. Magazine has the best view, and if you're a thru hiker, try the 27 mile Eagle Rock Loop trail close to Mena. I live in Texarkana myself so I'm not far from Louisiana. I'd definitely recommend the Blue Hole. If you're interested in meeting up, let me know and I'll give you my email address. I'm down to hike on weekends and if you're willing to drive to Texarkana I could drive up to a spot in the Ouachitas.
