It seems new in the picture, the teflon coating on it wears of rather quick with use, I've gone ahead and put a patina on mine since it became prone to rusting.

From my years on 4chan all I know about Cold Steel is that they are huge memes, at least with knives.
They're not really in the market here so I never got my hands on one to see for myself.
