getting lost hiking sure, i definitely lost track of a path before and had trouble finding my way back.

my work phone is a dual carrier that works 95% if places, i bring it with me as a backup. otherwise i cache all my maps.
here was a route I took last year. went hiking, drove through asheville, got some food, and kept driving to another spot that looked interesting. drove 260 miles in 8 hours, and walked 6.7 for another 2.5 hours.
