So I started gardening this year on the 22nd of May. Yeah I know a bit late for my zone 6a, but I have ha slick with having a bit of my seeds sprout. I planted Hales Jumbo melon, alpine strawberry, wild blackberry, bunching onions, Walla Walla onions, salmonberry, Oregon grape, and spearmint. I think only the onions, melons, and strawberry seeds have sprouted. I’ll take more pictures in the morning. I’m just not sure what these things are. They’ve popped up in my seed trays. At first I they were salmonberry because that’s where I first noticed them grow, but they’re in quite a few of my seed trays now. I think they’re a weed. This one grew in my spearmint tray. Is it spearmint? I don’t think any mint has sprouted yet. Can anyone help me identify it? It started off just looking like a small blade of grass but this one now is growing a second blade? Also any tips for getting my mint seeds to germinate?
