When I was a kid there was a forest behind my house that I went hiking through all the time. After a couple years of exploring back there I finally happened across this abandoned house literally in the middle of the woods. No roads, paths, or nothing. In fact, the forest was thicker near this place than in most other parts. I still have no idea who would have lived there or when, and the place looks like it was abandoned decades ago. Spent a lot of time there as a kid.
