I eventually went up there and it was one of those spinning vents, rubbing against the pipe, I got it to stop doing that.
I was surprised at the lack of spiders getting inside, this place is well-sealed. Most the bugs are too big to enter through small gaps. Spiders everywhere outside. Tarantulas on my porch are common.
