>>2396317I'm too far south for ice fishing, but mine does have that option as well, which is kind of neat. Euro anon might be able to ice fish though. I imagine he's probably asleep right now. I mainly use my fish finder in lakes, bays, and the ocean. Most of the water is a desert, so I at least like to have some indication of where to cast when I'm out there. Oftentimes I don't pack it at all, but I do when the odds are highly stacked against me, or I go somewhere I have never been.
