then go up is coarseness and to medium then fine, then you can do what you like as far as touching up goes.
get it razor sharp, dont believe that "thick edge" bullshit people try to sell you on.
you dont want a 19-20 degree but maybe a 21-23, id reccomend 24-25 if it were an actual axe axe but its not.
