Bit disappointed they went for the same sort of biome again. I think we've had more than enough North American/Arctic content. I was really hoping for a curveball with dense jungle (having to survive from being eaten alive by nature rather than enduring hunger or cold) or sandy desert/oasis (having to survive the heat with scarce resources).
I think the gameplan has really been established for this landscape. Anyone who cant last at least 1-2 months from watching the other seasons shouldnt even be competing. Build a decent shelter and catch fish, stop bitching bout 'muh family', wait till the others quit. Big game hunting is still sort of luck based so I woulnt have it as my make or break strat.
