>>2464677You said most recent, so that was my foraging trip this week. Nothing too special, just a walk through the woods with my foraging kit. I'm still new to foraging, so my goal was just to walk a bit and look what I could identify.
Walked across town, got a beer and a sandwich at a gas station, then walked into the woods. Had a nice picnic there, then went looking what I could forage.
Didn't find super rare plants or anything, but identified some acorns, beechnuts, a few hazelnut bushes, a whole lot of blackberry bushes and clovers.
Harvested some nettles, broadleaf plantains, dandelions with roots, a few rosehips and elderberries.
Weirdest find was picrel near a footpath at the entry to the forest. I'm certain it's some sort of brassica, possibly brassica incana, but I don't really think those are widespread here so I wonder if it propagated from some garden or something.
Will probably go on a fishing trip in 2 days, so that'll be nice as my next small getaway. Real /out/ adventures are of course great, but I like these smaller trips too. I take any chance I get.
