Don't be too surprised if you solo camp at a popular spot in the National forest/public land when people set up around the same campsite as you. I've witnessed this on trails that have established spots with hand pumps and fire rings. Good way to meet other people. If you don't want to meet people don't camp directly next to listed resources.
other than that the basics of low impact camping:
-bury your shit
-away from water features
-pack your trash out
-pack out someone eases trash too
-dont tear the woods up, your camping not homesteading
-burn fires completely
-try to find a good spot instead of "making" a good spot.
-never forget no matter how hard your LARPing poaching is still illegal
