I know my board would work well for fly fishing, but I haven't mounted a trolling motor on it...yet. I have been mulling it over, but everything I've done has been stuff that didn't require damaging the board. I have some rod holders to mount into the board, but I'm hesitant, because I haven't quite perfected the placement. I want to keep my crate in the back, so I'm going to take my sweet time and make sure it's perfect for what I want. Maybe once I do that I'll trying making a trolling motor mount. It would be ideal, since I want the new rod holders for trolling. But, I like the work of paddling around all day. It can suck, but it sucks less each time because you get stronger and more adept.
