>Come up with a housing plan for them that is efficient and easy to cleanAlso didn’t do this one well and had to go back and revise some stuff after the rabbits were already here. Use welded wire and avoid wood near the rabbits and cages wherever possible.
>Build your own shitIf you have the time, building your own cages, watering system, nest boxes, etc. can save a ton of money. Amazon has surprisingly good deals on cage wire, especially when they have damaged packaging stuff available.
>GardenEven one rabbit will produce a lot of shit. If you don’t already garden, you should start. It would be a waste to throw all of the poop away. Grow some tomatoes in it or something
Its all pretty basic stuff. Rabbits are a little harder than a lot of sources make them out to be, particularly starting out, but overall they are pretty easy and enjoyable. Once you get the ball rolling with breeding, it gets easier. So many people have them that if you do run into an issue you are almost certainly not the first and somebody has already found a solution. If you join a few big meat rabbit groups on zuckerbook and ask a question you will pretty much always find a good answer.
