>>94757This is quite common actually. I shared a house with a guy who had a similar struggle. He had done his share of backpacking and camping and shit but let a bug into the house and he'd lose it. He once asked me to remove a bee I think it was from his room and I said "its a bug, deal with it" and so he left the house entirely. I thought "there was a bug in your room so you retreat to the place where the bugs live, the outdoors".
He explained that bugs in the house were like, intruding or compromising his safe place but bugs outside were fine because they belonged there.
If this doesn't sound reasonable to someone, then its safe to assume they don't know what a phobia is because reason's got nothing to do with it anyway.
