the other downside i forgot thats kind of a given with the SKMEI swap is that the battery expenditure from the light becomes noticably higher.
i personally never had a problem with the F91W backlight, i can read what i need to at night and it doesn't light my wrist up like a candle which is sort of nice at times being innawoods. but i know some people hate it.

heres a nato with black hardware on wrist
for the anon worried about bulky hardware, you can get thinner hardware and rounded hardware on natos, you just have to look around for it.
any 1 piece nylon band is going to feel like wearing a bracelet or wristband but its not that bad because as anon said it conforms better and breathes better. only annoyance with this style of strap is moisture sticks around in the straps and taking the strap off is slightly more effort (which is the point of them)
