I have an amazon chinkshit backpacking stove that I've used a bunch of times with no problems. I tried to use it last weekend with a mostly full can of pic related. I opened the valve to light it and the thing started spitting liquid fuel out. I was hungry and wanting my fucking chili mac so I just lit the son of bitch. This was a poor choice. The liquid fuel all over the can caught fire. After dealing with that I didn't try to use it again and just ate my other food in a very shitty mood. What happened? The can of fuel was one that I had used last on an overnight last winter and then forgot about in my pile of gear. Do they go bad from sitting? Or was it the shitty little stove that failed me?
