This was the big bottom guide. Imagine pic related, the silver part cracked straight across so the black insert is still good. So I put the JB weld all around the insert ring, then tried to line it up the best I could and clamped the whole thing back together. It’s gonna take a tiny bit of sanding to smooth it out when it cures because I put a big glob all around the crack.
I could but a new guide too but the rod will probably end up looking like shit. I would rather just replace the rod if this doesn’t hold.
