>>1767817Neither are hiking, but:
When I was in highschool, I ran about 20 miles at most. Usually only would do 8-12 miles on Tuesday and Thursday nights, but wanted to see how far I could go one night and had to stop because it was 3am at the end of it and I had school the next day.
I'm currently homeless and live in a disabled car. Walked about 24 miles with a backpack and a duffle bag a couple weeks ago cause I had a lot of errands to run.
However, both situations were on paved roads/sidewalks/trails and didn't have too many hills. I injured my joints from being retarded and couldn't run for a few years. Now I can hike tens of miles with a pack, but running 2mi with no extra weight absolutely murders me. My cardio is fucked up in a way I didn't think possible previously. I'm joining the military though and the PT exercises are whipping my ass into shape as far as jogging running and sprinting. I can out do any of these cunts when it comes to a ruckmarch though. Strap me up with 65lbs and tell me to do 25mi and all I need is one water bottle and no breaks.
Pic related; about to go to sleep.
