The primary campground in Belanglo is the central Daly Clearing. There’s a few fire-rings, a composing toilet, good tenting grass, a nearby dam (but that’s almost always fished-out of yabbies), lots of edible mushrooms (Saffron Milkcaps and Slippery Jacks-- saw lots of evidence of the recent picking season), and an infinite supply of wood. And it's all free, of course.
(n.b: the "it's illegal to collect wood" warning signs in the area are referring to removing wood from the S.F-- it's certainly legal to gather wood for personal campfire use within the non-plantation areas.)
