I'm planning on camping out alone for the first time. I'm going to go to a camping site I've been to a couple times before with friends. My family is understandably concerned and keep telling me that I should take a friend or else I'll die or get in some horrible accident and not be able to call for help. I want the solitude though. My life is busy and noisy and I could use the alone time.
Any tips on camping alone? I'm planning on going to Baxter State Park back country in Maine.
