I don't really game at all but sometimes I do play the old 2012 Slender game. It still spoops me out and the weird thing is it's exactly like the woods I grew up in, the evil tree, the rock formation, even the fucking silo (legit a 140yr old hollowed-out rusted iron beast still standing in the middle of the woods from a farm long gone). Even the trucks parked out in the woods are just like the trucks we used to fuck around with at night when there was construction happening on the other side of the forest in the early 2000s. I love spooky shit and horror, but I also love nostalgia and that game does it all for me.
