I know I guy that the SPOT saved his life after getting thrown from a horse 50 miles from the nearest house, He had broken femur and was bleeding badly enough to use a tourniquet.
We don't have a gas sniffer, but I do want to get one. We try to go into mines that have airflow, but not always possible.
