Question: New Chili Pepper gardener in zone 6a here. I just got done repotting all my chilis and other plants for the season in 2/3rd's potting mix and 1/3 cow manure fertilizer and I plan on adding a inch to half inch of mulch once I move them outside permanently in about a week. I bought blood meal fertilizer & pepper specific organic fert with the blood meal being an NPK of 2-17-0 & the pepper specific fertilizer being an NPK of 11-3-8. Since I just repotted them in fairly fertilized soil how long do I want to wait/how tall should I let them grow before I start using these two fertilizers later in the season to maximize flower & fruit production. Any advice on growing peppers is appreciated by the way.
