I'm the guy that made the attached. And even me making that whole crazy list, I know that it really comes down to pure chance.
the only facts you can really follow with fishing is that there are specific times of the year when fish are feeding heavier than others. And certain times of the year when they are barely feeding.
Also, people love to use artificial lures. I'm one of those people. But you're probably better off with live baits when it comes to bass and it's cheaper.
