Fast forward 15 years, hiking in remote area looking for mushrooms, (Portabellas, not "magic" ones you nerds.) Saw a very disheveled man lying on the dirt about 50 yards away. Figured he was homeless, creep up for a better look. He's very pale, dead. It took me an hour to get back to the highway, called cops, interviewed by news, etc. Don't know how he died.
