Personally I don't even bother with anything but Tri-Ad, Compression and Axis -locks anymore (unless Spyderco Military or Victorinox Pioneer) because they hold up so poorly and will wear out from medium and up tasks like cutting up boxes and wood carving etc. You don't even have to abuse them.
