Gents I had two varieties of raspberries in separate 8x4 beds. One was rather strong for two years (fall gold) and after producing fruit twice last year it died hard in September. It's now April and everything is fruiting, blueberry, blackberry, grapes, peaches, but my raspberries in both beds have not returned. Old canes pull out with little force. I have a hard time thinking its root rot considering one raspberry shares a bed with grapes and they're fine, the other shared a bed with beans and they were fine, all beds (6) are on the same sprinkler schedule and are mulched.
The fall golds set fruit first year I planted the rootball - think I should put more in? Pic related its a crown I pulled out.
