Just got back from going down the river in this. Don't buy this. It's bottom tier and they shouldn't be encouraged to make garbage like this. I'll tell you why it's garbage.
I ripped a gaping fucking hole in the bottom when I went over some rocks. There are only two chambers so I remained afloat, but the floor air chamber filled with water and was surprisingly difficult to get water out of because it flows into different compartments that all communicate with each other. Once the floor was fucked, water came in over the sides and got in the cockpit and there is no drain in the cockpit, so I had to get out and bail water out because it felt like it weighed 90 lbs.
I have better inflatable kayaks, but I bought this because I didn't want to destroy my good ones on the river. I would only recommend hard kayaks in a river.
There are hard plastic pieces mounted on the outside that get in the way of your paddle when you make a stroke. Stupid fucking design.
I was moving along so nicely at first. I removed the skeg because I figured it would get broken on rocks, so I had poor tracking but it was decent enough for a 1-4mph river. I felt like this would have been ok to go out in a lake with.
I am returning this to Walmart. I paid $98 for it.
I'm also returning the Ozark Trail "waterproof" phone case. It leaked water and my phone got wet.
