dont have photos right now but story:
>in thailand, been doing urbex for a few years
>walking around pattaya, looking for stuff to do that isnt drinking beer near sexpats
>find out about 'batman' themed disco
>years ago, huge fire broke out in disco club and emergency doors shut as people were evacuating, resulting in multiple deaths
>thai people are notoriously superstitious about death and spirits
>decide to check it out
>hop on moped and run over, walk through some abandoned construction sites, dodging packs of wild dogs in the grass, etc, already creepy
>arrive at nightclub, it's absolutely massive
>easily 5 stories
>easy enough to get in, no doors, graffiti'd everywhere, clearly a place that people hang out
>find multiple pentagrams of dismembered barbie dolls, nooses hanging from open elevator shafts, typical ominous shit
>get to the top, beautiful views of the island, really must have been a fantastic club in its time
>overall a pretty mid visit but interesting nonetheless
>as im walking out, meet some kid who couldn't be older than 4 years old
>he's lighting candles and incense in red fanta bottles (part of thai tradition I guess to appease spirits of a house -- almost every place in thailand has some red fanta outside of it)
>he speaks english surprisingly
>ask him what's hes doing, he responds that it's job to take care of the spirits in the disco
>he asks if I want to see where he lives
>sure
>takes me to the basement of the disco, secluded beneath, imagine being under a massive overpass
>his dad is piss drunk off in the corner, maybe 30 m away
>this kid and his dad just live in the basement of this haunted nightclub
>basement opens into huge pit in the ground which is filled with rain water, probably 5 - 8 m deep
>above the pit are hundreds of bats, swirling around above the water
>huh
>he lets me light a few candles and shows me some of his things (toys, shit he collected, etc)
>go and buy him some chips and water
>hope that little steward is doing OK
