>>2545098You can do hollow ties which are sparser but look big or you can add some lead wire to the hook. The hollow ties keep the weight and bulk down wich improves castability. The wire adds weight but it counteracts the air resistance from the hair making it cast better. You can also do both which makes a 12" fly feel like nothing.
