lol. luckily I'm pretty sure I know why overhead casts are so easy to fuck up for a noob. I'm guessing that when you have tighter spool tension to help when learning, that also makes your startup inertia really fucking bad/delayed, thus your lure just dives straight towards the ground despite releasing at a good angle.
