Pads in hammocks suck, get an underquilt or diy one from a cheap rectangular sleeping bag (just attach cords to the corners and run shockcord through the end horizontally to tighten up the ends).
The cheap hammock you got is fine, it appears to have bug net so you did very good.
As for tarps try finding one that has loops all through the ridgeline so that the tarp hangs on the loops instead of the ridgeline
Also your tarp line is overkill, 3mm cord is more than enough.
