Looking at some St Croix casting rods for a pitching/creature/flipping/texas/carolina rig type fishing. Looking at the Mojo Medium H Mod Fast in both 7' and 7'6" lengths. Then they have a Heavy Fast in 7'4" length. This is for Northern Ontario where the weeds usually moderately thick, but there is lots of thick woody and rocky cover as well.
I hear what main line you like to use can sway which way you go on tip. I use Carrier 8 with a fluro leader on my spinning rods and I've really liked it so far, so I'm inclined to to go braid. Thanks for the input.
