>>33433Not really. Only if you are going looking near places known for uranium deposits. I once went looking for mica sheets near an active Uranium mine, I didn't stay long. And any places that actually have dangerous deposits will be sectioned off usually. Good thing you asked, I'm in majoring nuclear physics so you asked the right guy.
Also there is always a natural abundance of radioactive particles coming from decaying isotopes in minerals all the time in all environments so I would not worry about it.
