I think I found them at a Walmart near my house in IL years and years ago and they were cheap, either just under $2 or maybe even $1. They had 1/8oz in black and white and I bought 2 or 3 of each color so I could toss them at new places or risky spots where I had a good chance of losing them. They worked much better than a lot of the cheap ones, almost as good as Rooster Tails.
If you see them for cheap, go for it. If they still want like $2.50 for them, just get Rooster Tails.
