>>1863597>Do you abuse your knives?absolutely
The CRKT Drifter has been used as a bottle opener, a screw driver, and a pry bar more times than I can remember and it's held up better and longer than the shitty Kershaw I spent 3x as much on.
The Kabar is overpriced for what it is, I have a lot of complaints about it but I don't think they are what people shit on the knife over.
-The blade is fucking thick and sucks for cutting things like potatoes when camping
-The factory edge was so fucking dull it wasn't even funny
-the grip is too round and hard to index
-the crossguard makes it impossible to choke up on the knife
I cut the guard down and added some leather cord to the grip and it's better but for the price there's probably better knives out there.
>Will you loan knives to friends?sure why not?
>>1863989>>1863991I was told that the penny (whatever coin really) was so that the knife doesn't cut your friendship
