>>1841995You claim you respect fish you catch? I don't think people who catch fish just to release them respect fish very much. Respecting a fish would be more like looking at the fish swimming freely in the water maybe tossing a handful of crumbs into the water and watching them eat.
Not throwing a lure out in the water and causing trauma to the fish who will now likely once released not eat for the rest of the day or maybe not for a few days. Hell depending on your hook you might have ripped a hole in the fishes mouth and now that fish has no suction to intake and keep it's food from escaping.
That sure is showing some respect to fish though man. Let's not forget all the people who catch live bait fish and cut this fish in half or how about them people who use live Shrimp and cut them into pieces to catch bait fish yeah that's showing so much respect.
