Larger diameter would all you would need. The current “powa” valves are pretty simplistic, but could increase the Pm2.5 claim if the initial inhale wasnt to aid closing the valve off as a small fraction of air gets in during the process. a light duty spring loaded valve would immediately close it off before an inhalation.
