The reel is fantastic though. It cast light lures just as well as heavier ones. It's pretty smooth all around.

>>890004>because it is a little too heavy unless I throw like 1oz jigsMaybe im weird but for anything over a 1/4 oz I use a MH until 3/4-1oz then go up to a H. I don't like the way rods cast when they're on the upper end of their recommended weight I guess.
Also if you caught bigger fish you'd like heavier rods :-)
