It's still pretty mild here but winter is quickly approaching so I'm building an enclosure for my fig out of repurposed grape containers a friend gets me from his work.
Supposedly this fig is winter hardy in our zone 6b, but it's lived most of it's life as a houseplant my mother kept and this will be it's first winter outside so I want to baby it some and see how it does. After the enclosure is fully made I'll wrap it all in row cover.
