Are you going to be working in Brunswick? Few really nice/cool farms in the Freeport area, I used to do Coyote control for a few of them from Saco to Harpswell.
You're going to love it, working in the winter only sucks for the first year then you learn to love it. Have fun, get a gun and a fly rod. There is so much game to hunt, and fish to catch. Mousam River is one of the best fly fishing spots in New England, especially in the winter months.
Coyote hunting is just a $4 stamp and people around here will pay you to hunt on their property/farms.
It's a brilliant state, just left in September not sure when I'll be back.
Acadia is fucking awesome (fish for mackerel in otter cove)
My favorite place is the Forks. Bard I'd the best coffee and get your fish)hunt permit. It's the most relaxed state when it comes to gun laws, and one of the best /out/ states in general. There isn't just one place in the state I'd call my favorite. The entire state is fucking awesome.
