What is the deal with picking tomatoes early?
In previous years I have preferred to let them ripen on the vine, but after waking up to find another half dozen of them ruined by grubs, I feel like picking them early is my only chance to get to eat any of them myself.
How do I tell when they are ready for early picking? Pic related, my poor tomatoes.
