Tried shorefishing Puget Sound for the first time. Titlow park just south of the narrows.
-Sea otters are dicks
-Kelp floating everywhere
I was trying to use spoons, since I don't know much about saltwater tackle. Did fucking nothing, but I feel like I learnt a bit.
Seems like my max casting distance was dead center on the trench, so I get two more feet in and I'm made. I had already ordered some novelty spoons off Amazon, so the extra weight may do it.

Is weedless-ness even a possibility in saltwater? The kelp seems less stout but more wrappey than freshwater weeds.
