>>1852970I’m glad you posted that study, m8.
I posted the definition of prejudice.
Explain how my assertion that blacks participate in “the outdoors” at a statistically measurably lower rate than whites is prejudice.
From self reported data, this is indisputably true. Here is a snippet of the first result from my quick Google for “race of hikers”
> Since 2016, The Trek's annual survey of Appalachian Trail thru-hikers has included questions about race, finding that: 94 to 96 percent of AT thru-hikers identified as white. 2 percent self-reported as Hispanic or Latinx in 2019 and 2018, doubling the number from the previous two years. From my own personal observations, this is indisputably true. I see drastically less blacks /out/ than I do in the city. Almost everyone I see is white or Asian.
So you can either admit that “prejudice” simply doesn’t apply and you’re talking out your ass about words you don’t understand, and attempting to quote papers that just make you look stupid
Or
You can maintain that all racial data on hikers is falsified, my own experience is falsified, and it is simply untrue that blacks participate in such outdoor activities in lower numbers than would be expected.
